(Lines to get the crowd loosed up before the dance.) Hi there. Can any one out there make an animal sound from Africa for me? from Colorado? S America? The sky? The soil? A plant sound? Anyone have an animal or plant that they consider to be their mascot or totem? To help get others over here to join us for the dance I would like to ask everyone to make the sound of an animal that they like, especially a wild animal. And lets make it real loud if we can. Humminggggg-bird… Humminggggg-bird. Oh what a sweet day. I think its time to get some nectar. And there's a beautiful flower that might have some. I am going over there and stick my beak and tongue in there to see if there is. Humminggggg-bird… Humminggggg-bird. Yechhh,,, sputter sputerr. That nectar is tainted dude. And I know what it is… it's the taste of acid rain… a toxic mix of sulfuric acid, nitric acid and soot. Ohh I am so mad at those dang corporations that are spewing that stuff into the air and for making those inefficient cars too. Boy I would like to talk with some humans to tell em what's going on a in these flowers. I also wish I could share my talented taste buds with a human so they could see what's happening to their food. Maybe there is some good nectar in there, so I'll give it anther try. Humminggggg-bird… Humminggggg-bird. Beala beetle. Hey whatch where you are sticking that pecker. I don't mind sharing the necter in my flower with ya but you stuck that pecker in my eye. But I must say, I agree with you. An d I would like to add that the government is not listening to what the other species have to say about the pollution that is ruining our flowers and a lot of other things around here. Is anybody listening out there?…… Welcome to the GrMa D4S. The GrMa D4S is way to honor and connect with the amazing animals and plants that share our planet with us. It is also an invitation to these species to share their wisdoms, wit, passions and strengths with us to empower our actions that protect our priceless planet home. This 4 part dance focuses on 4 dimensions of ecological action TEAM, ART, LOGIC and LOVE. TEAM is the first part of the GrMa D4S dance. During the TEAM movement we ask one of the species of the planet to be our guide and for that specie to teach us about what they know about cooperation, community, and teamwork from the perspective of their kind. "…whooooosh… the leader spins and is transformed into a rainforest ant" Wow, thanks for inviting me to say something. I am Jajoon a rainforest ant. I would like say that I agree that it is very important that those who care for the Earth team up together. In fact, I think that some of those Earth lovers should try the ankle biting technique that our ant tribe uses. When our tribe wants to get from one limb to another but there is a bit of a distance between the two, we will grab on to each others ankles to create a living bridge of ants that way so that others on our team can cross. Yeh it sounds kinda weird but it works. So I would like say, find a way to help your eco-team make it to the other side to help the planet. Whether that means you bite onto your friends ankles or let them bite yours to get it done is up to you, the main thing is to team up. "…whooooosh… the leader is transformed back into a human" Wow, thank's for that tidbit of ant wisdom. ART is the second part of the GREENMATRIX DANCE 4 THE SPECIES. As we dance the ART movement we will ask a specie to be our guide and to tell us what they know about communication, creativity, interaction, motivation, and art. "…whooooosh… the co-leader spins and is transformed into a whale" Wow, thanks for inviting me to say something. I am Jajoon a rainforest ant. I would like say that I agree that it is very important that those who care for the Earth team up together. During the LOGIC movement we ask our specie guide to tell us what they have discovered about how to live ecologically and in harmony with others of their species and other life-forms. "…whooooosh… the leader spins and is transformed into a bear" Wow, thanks for inviting me to say something. I am Jajoon a rainforest ant. I would like say that I agree that it is very important that those who care for the Earth team up together. In fact, I think that some of those Earth lovers should tr "…whooooosh… the leader is transformed back into a human" Wow, thank's for that tidbit of bear wisdom. LOVE is the fourth movement. During the LOVE movement we take the chance to honor and give love back to our specie guide and receive any love they choose to send our way. "…whooooosh… the co-leader spins and is transformed into a swallow" Wow, thanks for inviting me to say something. I am Jajoon a rainforest ant. I would like say that I agree that it is very important that those who care for the Earth team up together. [After this intro to the four parts and dimensions of the dance, the leader then begins the dance.] So to start the dance I would like to ask everyone to begin walking around the center point with arms out as you sending your appreciation to the lifeforms that share our planet our with us, imagine embracing them with your arms and heart and inviting the species to send you a guide for the first part of this dance. For those of you not in the circle you may want to turn around in place with arms out, again embracing the species and inviting a specie to be your guide as well. Some of you may also want to pick a card from the center station to decide your specie guide. Whatever the specie - be it kitty cat, beetle, cobra, willow, koala or dolphin - they all have something to say about LOVE. The LOVE dimension is also a place to accept the gratitude and praise for environmental actions that have helped protect their homes, their lives and the planet!! The LOVE dimension is also a realm to allow the energies and powers of our specie guide, its family, the biosphere and the universal river of love to rejuvenate and nurture our body, mind and spirit. Whatever the specie - be it spider, raven, caribou, seahorse, sunflower, or lion - they have all LOGICal ways of living that we can learn from. Therefore, in the LOGIC dimension, we can ask our specie guide to help us make life-style lifestyle decisions and consumer choices that best serve the Earth and our lives. The Logic dimension is also an misty excursion into the future to see the domino effect of our eco-actions on life-forms and humans worldwide based on science, natural history and probability. Whatever the specie - be it wildebeest, wasp, butterfly, gorilla, amoeba, or whale - they all have something to say about ART. We will then ask our specie guide to suggest ways that we can apply their communication and creative abilities to the way we use conversation, email, fine art, songs, and multi-media to inform our friends, community and the world of environmental and social issues we care about. Profit obsessed advertising often abuses the communication arts used by humans and other species to destroy the biosphere. In these times, getting the dry information out there is usually not good enough to motivate change - serious info with a ingenious twist is easier hear and act on. So in the TEAM dimension, we can ask our specie guide for ideas on how to apply their knowledge and perspective to the way we work with friends, associates and with environmental organizations to help protect the planet and to better our lives. O Whatever the specie - be it ant, elephant, goose, krill, aspen tree, or manta ray - they all have lessons to teach us about TEAM. Of course some corporations have also demonstrated the power of team, even though their focus is often very destructive and dangerous for the biosphere. As Earth lovers, it is a crucial aspect of protecting the planet that we also come together to work as a team. Welcome to the GrMa D4S. The GrMa D4S is an invitation to the animals and plants of our planet to dance with us and to share their wisdoms, wit, passions and strengths with us in order to empower our actions to protect these species and our planet.
